Jun. 19, 2008 11:15 AM
ProjectLocker announced
a partnership with Rally Software in which it will build integrations for Rally’s
Agile lifecycle management solutions. Future enhancements between Rally,
Subversion source code management and ProjectLocker’s proprietary analytics
will help Agile development teams extend their existing enterprise tooling
investments, reduce implementation costs and seamlessly unify technical and
role-based silos into a collaborative dashboard.
ProjectLocker is committed to equipping the world's top
software developers with the most dynamic and effective tools necessary to
deliver the highest quality applications. As a result, ProjectLocker’s integration
with Rally’s award-winning Agile solutions will provide Rally users with
managed and secured repositories for hosted Subversion, along with
ProjectLocker’s proprietary enhancements such as Subversion Analytics. The
combined power of Rally, Subversion and ProjectLocker will deliver a unique
framework in which development teams can significantly accelerate their time to
market while simultaneously lowering the cost of ownership for infrastructure.
“Agile software development epitomizes every best practice
we feel is essential to successful software development,” says Corregan Brown,
Vice-President of Customer Services for ProjectLocker. “And, like any
development process, secure, reliable access to your source code, whenever,
wherever, and however you need it is a cornerstone of an Agile engagement, so we're
excited to partner with Rally to provide a complete software development
solution for Agile teams everywhere.”
“Our partners provide a comprehensive network of expert
resources that offer a wide range of business, process and technology services
related to delivering software that provides immediate business value,” said
Greg Crandall, Rally’s VP of Business Development. “We’re thrilled that partners
like ProjectLocker have stepped up to build integrations that extend the value
of Rally’s solutions to all corners of the software-driven enterprise.”
