SYS-CON to Relaunch CFDJ as Silverlight Developer's Journal
SYS-CON will also launch the premier issue of its "iPhone Developer's Journal" at AJAXWorld later this month

Digg This!

SYS-CON Media announced today its plans to relaunch CFDJ - ColdFusion Developer's Journal as Silverlight Developer's Journal. The premier issue of SLDJ will be debuted at the upcoming AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2007 West, which will take place September 23-26, 2007, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, in Santa Clara California.

SLDJ will be offered both in print and online format, twelve times per year, as a monthly publication. "We have seen a rapid trend and move from ColdFusion to other emerging rich web technologies such as AJAX, Flex, and Silverlight," said Engin Sezici of SYS-CON Media. "We have been observing this migration most recently in the last twelve months."

CFDJ was launched 10 years ago as a custom developer magazine with the direct support of Allaire Corporation. This support continued after the acquisition of Allaire by Macromedia. After ColdFusion became part of the Adobe product line Adobe recently decided to discontinue its support of the magazine.

Silverlight Developer's Journal will be launched as an independent magazine, and its editorial content will be managed by its editor-in-chief and editorial advisory board.

SYS-CON will also launch the premier issue of its iPhone Developer's Journal at AJAXWorld later this month.
