James Gosling (pictured talking with SYS-CON.TV recently in New York City) and Sun are keen to make sure that the AJAX wildfire doesn't spread without developers realizing that with existing Sun tools like Java Studio Creator and NetBeans, you can incorporate AJAX components into the Web pages that you build.

"Whether it's AJAX or applets or plain old HTML, they all play together," noted Gosling in a recent magazine interview.
