Neotys announced that it has partnered with Platform Lab.

This partnership enables Platform Lab customers to have access to Neotys’ NeoLoad, a web stress testing software that runs high-load scenarios on web applications to measure performance and robustness prior to deployment.

Platform Lab is a non-profit IT test and training facility in the United States. It provides a resource for firms looking to expand testing and create better solutions while avoiding unnecessary expenditures. Platform Lab customers have access to an entire testing environment designed to their specifications, encompassing hardware, software, bandwidth, space, network and initial application configuration. Utilized by more than 170 firms nationwide, common projects include load/stress testing, disaster recovery validation, IT training, vendor evaluation and proof of concept validation. The goal is to make IT testing exceptionally affordable so that more companies will verify solutions prior to implementation. Most projects conducted at Platform Lab incur resource costs 90% less than that of the client's current test solutions.

Everest Technologies, a leading IT service provider based in Columbus, Ohio regularly works with Platform Lab to conduct load testing engagements for Platform Lab customers. Load testing, which involves subjecting a system with simulated virtual users and monitoring the end-to-end performance, has become tremendously important to many organizations due to the high growth of web-based applications.
