Sep. 2, 2008 04:30 PM
WaveMaker announced an OEM partnership with KANA Software. KANA will use WaveMaker to develop its next generation customer service solutions.
“We evaluated almost every AJAX tool vendor before selecting WaveMaker,” said Mark Angel, CTO of KANA Software. “We chose WaveMaker because its visual AJAX studio gives us the lowest learning curve, the highest productivity and the power to easily construct tailored solutions for our customers.”
KANA selected WaveMaker’s Visual AJAX Studio to build a browser-based client interface for its next-generation customer service solution.
As a result of the partnership, KANA customers will be able to enhance and extend the application interface quickly and easily.
“We are delighted that KANA selected WaveMaker as the fastest and most secure way to build AJAX applications,” said Christopher Keene, CEO of WaveMaker. “We believe that KANA’s customers will also see WaveMaker as the most productive way to build Rich Internet Applications.”
WaveMaker Visual AJAX Studio is available under the GNU AGPL version 3 open source license, as well as a WaveMaker commercial license. Applications created using WaveMaker deploy as standard Java WAR files to Java servers such as IBM WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss and Tomcat. With no proprietary code or languages involved, WaveMaker applications easily meet CIOs’ architecture, security and data policies.
