Parallels announced that MESH-Solutions is using Parallels Automation software to offer business-class email based on hosted Microsoft Exchange. The offering is aimed at European resellers looking for a hosting partner that provides customization and branding of the Hosted Exchange infrastructure.
Hosted applications give small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) easy, low-cost access to solutions that were once reserved for large enterprises with much larger IT budgets and resources. Hosted Microsoft Exchange provides employees with access to shared company data such as email, calendars, contacts and tasks making internal and external communication more efficient and flexible.
MESH-Solutions enables resellers to reach this growing market by providing a complete infrastructure that goes beyond billing and reporting. Integrated and automated processes, including online ordering and provisioning are now available at an all-inclusive price. This "out of the box" solution is a perfect match for resellers wanting to generate additional service business by administrating the hosted solution.
"For most small service providers, it is too expensive to run their own 24/7 data centers. Using Parallels Automation, we are able to offer integrated Exchange 2007 at attractive price points," said Claudia Gharavi, Executive Director of MESH-Solutions. "Moreover, resellers can easily customize the Parallels software to brand their own hosted services without the significant investment that is typically required."
"MESH-Solutions offers system integrators, IT consultants, internet agencies and resellers easy access to the growing hosting market," said Nils Hueneke, Director EMEA Hosting at Parallels. "Leveraging Parallels Automation, the company can now create additional revenue and improve customer retention, without investing in hardware or technical know-how."
Parallels Automation was created to meet the needs of hosting providers. Its comprehensive feature set delivers hosting solutions through a multi-layer control panel with integrated billing that enables MESH-Solutions to automate all processes. Additionally, MESH-Solutions provides their resellers with the Parallels Plesk Control Panel, so they can easily manage their Hosted Exchange 2007 Server at any time from any location.
