Xeround has announced that Pelephone has selected the Xeround Intelligent Data Grid. Pelephone is leveraging Xeround IDGTM to consolidate its subscriber data, improving the profitability and time to market for existing and new value-added services.
Pelephone has a long history as a market pioneer, established in 1986 as Israel's first mobile operator, currently serving more than 2.6 million subscribers and offering many advanced services. Pelephone needed a solution to model, maintain, and extend its subscriber data across a growing number of value-added services. Xeround IDG was chosen to enable a single, consolidated subscriber data source, which greatly simplifies managing the information required by Pelephone's services.
"Pelephone is committed to providing our subscribers a unique customer experience and the most innovating services in the Israeli market," said Ilan Alter, Director Cellular Applications, Pelephone. "Xeround's software gives us the foundation on top of which to manage all our subscriber information and improves our service delivery and ability to innovate."
Xeround IDG provides Pelephone with the flexibility to maintain and deploy services regardless of their application interface using an industry first N-way data access protocol and virtual partitioning techniques. With mechanisms for scaling online, Xeround also enables Pelephone to manage capacity without ever taking the system down and ensures real-time response for an optimal and personalized user experience.
"Pelephone has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their customer's needs and we are pleased to be a part of their ongoing success," said Charlotte Yarkoni, CEO of Xeround. "For operators, the ability to effectively manage their subscriber data has become a key differentiator to generating meaningful revenue."
