Embotics Launches U.S. Operations for Expanded Customer and Partner Virtualization Support

Customer Growth Extends Embotics Presence with New Charlotte Office and Director of Sales

Embotics announced its U.S. expansion with a new office in Charlotte and the appointment of U.S. Sales Director, Adam Kurtz. The U.S. expansion is a result of customer and partner growth, helping to increase visibility as well as support of Embotics’ virtualization management and automation technology deployments.

Embotics is expanding its team to serve and support U.S. customers and partners with training, technical expertise, customer service, and sales and marketing efforts focused on effectively managing virtual environments. Embotics has doubled its development staff and expanded its channel program worldwide to allow partners to leverage Embotics’ virtualization lifecycle management expertise.

"The current growth and ongoing success of Embotics poses the perfect opportunity for the company to branch into the U.S. market," said Eric Courville, vice president of sales for Embotics. "With the adoption of virtualization increasing worldwide, it is a natural next step for Embotics to establish a presence in the United States to provide enterprises with a local option for increased sales and support."

Embotics lets customers such as AMD and Alcatel-Lucent gain maximum performance when deploying virtual machines (VMs). Embotics recently announced V-Commander 2.0, which simplifies the process of VM management and prevents virtual sprawl, increasing efficiency and giving companies control of their virtual infrastructure.

Kurtz brings more than 20 years of accomplished software sales experience with Fortune 500, telecommunications and federal government organizations, and is known for his ability to close sales quickly. His most recent position was director of sales at Tideway, where he was responsible for establishing the company’s first deal in the United States with Wachovia, cultivating a relationship that made it the signature U.S. account for the company.

"My experiences working with large organizations such as Wachovia, Bank of America and AT&T have led me to understand the critical need for virtualization and the potential that Embotics' V-Commander provides for the industry," said Kurtz. "Embotics is developing the technology and the reputation for being on the leading edge of virtualization management and I welcome the chance to take advantage of this high-growth business opportunity in the U.S. market."
