Pano Logic announced that it has signed more than 150 customers since shipping the company’s first flagship Pano Virtual Desktop Solution (VDS) in December 2007. The recent introduction of Pano VDS 2.0 has accelerated this growth, helping the company double its customer base. Pano Logic’s customers come from a variety of industries including education, healthcare, government and technology, and comprise such organizations as Athleta, Bank of Montreal, Boise State University, CIBC, Embraer, Miles & Stockbridge, SanDisk, and University of Maryland, to name a few.

“Since launching Pano Logic and the Pano Virtual Desktop Solution, we’ve experienced significant market traction worldwide across a wide range of industries, and specifically among the mid-market and departments within large enterprises,” said Benjamin Baer, VP of marketing of Pano Logic. “As more enterprises seek to leverage their existing server virtualization infrastructure, improve PC management and increase security on the desktop, they’re realizing that desktop virtualization will deliver them these results and that Pano Logic’s zero client solution is a powerful option.”

In addition to the rapid customer adoption of its commercial desktop virtualization product, Pano Logic is also experiencing traction in the channel, signing 50 partners in the first half of 2008.

“Since Pano VDS is a zero client, we just plugged it in and it worked right out of the box,” said Kunal Patel, IT director at Nina Plastics, a leading manufacturer of flexible plastic packaging based in Orlando, Florida with additional offices in the UK and India. “With the Pano Manager and the VMware management features, the solution didn’t need a lot of configuration and it took around 10 minutes to get up and running. The Pano Logic concept was very simple, so we quickly saw how Pano VDS could replace our other existing desktops.”
