"We chose Lightstreamer because with this technology our Trading Platform will enter a new era as a sophisticated solid system in both business functionality and Technology perspective," said Tareq Saleh CEO & Vice President at EDATA, as it was announcd today that Lightstreamer, the streaming engine for AJAX applications, has signed a distribution partnership agreement with EDATA.This will help meet the growing demand for real-time solutions in the region, Saleh added.

Lightstreamer is the leading push server for live data distribution based on the AJAX-Comet paradigm (also known as "AJAX Push"). Its server component implements a messaging system based on http that can manage thousands of streaming connections, where data is pushed to the many types of client (AJAX, Flex, Java, .NET, Mobile etc) in a real asynchronous fashion.
"We are delighted that EDATA has chosen to work with Lightstreamer and act as a strategic partner, both for marketing as well as the implementation of systems integration and Arabic localization services in the region" says Simon Walmsley Vice President of Sales at Lightstreamer.
EDATA is a technology and consulting company, enabling the financial sector in the Middle East with brokerage and financial platforms. EDATA was established in 2005 and offers end-to-end total solutions that empower the independent, corporate and banking brokerage entities by aligning their business and technical needs.
