SYS-CON.TV Broadcasts Dave Wolf's AJAXWorld Session as On-Demand Webcast

AJAXWorld Conference & Expo East 2008, March 18–20

The conference theme of AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2008 is "Rich Web Technologies for Enterprise Web 2.0 and Social Applications."

This year at AJAXWorld conferences the relentless focus is not only on where AJAX is now but also where AJAX is headed, where Enterprise Web 2.0 and social applications are taking the software development industry and the end user, and how rich Web technologies are transforming our businesses and our lives. You will learn how AJAX is making money and gaining market-share for some of the leading businesses in the world.

The real-world questions that will be answered by this year's 140+ sessions are those that currently preoccupy working developers, architects, IT managers and business line managers. The 2008 tracks include:

  • Enterprise AJAX
  • Rich-Web Case Studies
  • Enterprise Web 2.0 & Social Applications
  • Event-Driven Web
  • iPhone Developer Summit
  • Diamond Track

Technical sessions will cover challengers to AJAX such as new innovations like Silverlight and JavaFX. We will be dealing with performance and browser compatability issues, showcasing viable strategies for performing unit/stress testing on an AJAX application, and how you apply user interface patterns and user experience design to your AJAX project.

AJAX Security Bootcamp
This year we also introduce AJAX Security Bootcamp as a pre-conference event, led by world experts Billy Hoffman and Bryan Sullivan. To be held on March 18, 2008, AJAXWorld Security Bootcamp is a compelling, intensive, one-day, hands-on training program that will teach Web developers, Web designers, and other Web professionals how to build secure AJAX applications and demonstrate what the best practices are to mitigate security problems in AJAX applications.

iPhone Developer Track
The groundbreaking track is chaired by iPhone Developer's Journal editor-in-chief Kevin Hoffman. In the two-day iPhone Developer Track, delegates will hear from industry experts about the impact the iPhone is having on delivery of rich content to mobile users. Technical sessions will explore a world of Web development opportunities on the iPhone including building applications using the new ASP.NET MVC framework, building social applications, and developing high-quality, iPhone-style Web-based GUIs for your applications.
