“With our extensive knowledge and expertise within the publishing and printing industry," said Marc Marin, President and CTO of Quasar, "we immediately identified the overall need and recognized the exact requirements of the Government. This allowed us to map out a clear and fast development strategy in order to provide them with precisely what they wanted.”
In parallel with with Quasar’s own AJAX, Web 2.0, globally collaborative Enterprise Publishing System, Nuqleo, they developed this automatic pagination software around Adobe InDesign CS3 and Adobe InCopy CS3 to create an automated high-performance page processing environment.
The resulting pagination process incorporates highly sophisticated composition rules, keeping in accordance with all of the Governments requirements, allowing them to generate daily official newspapers, annual indexes and linked PDFs for their website within seconds.
