Keynote Systems (Nasdaq:KEYN), announced an endeavor with Zenprise, the leader in BlackBerry troubleshooting software. The joint offering aims to proactively detect carrier, device, or infrastructure problems that can adversely impact an end user's experience. Keynote will initially deploy its mobile quality monitoring agents in New York to examine the carrier availability & performance of BlackBerry devices running across the Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T carrier networks. Zenprise customers will receive automated notifications when carrier outages or performance degradation are impacting BlackBerry users. With Keynote's network monitoring services, Zenprise will have the ability to deliver true real-time, automated diagnoses and resolutions to carrier issues impacting the BlackBerry environment.
Jayaram Bhat, CEO of Zenprise, commented on the positive implications of the Keynote/Zenprise engagement, saying, "Deploying BlackBerry devices in specific markets will allow our customers to get an accurate perspective of an end user's availability and performance. Zenprise's BlackBerry troubleshooting software can then correlate carrier issues in real time with user specific issues."
According to Umang Gupta, chairman & CEO of Keynote, "Zenprise's BlackBerry customers will greatly benefit from this service. Now, Zenprise customers will be continuously aware of an end user's experience with their carrier network. Keynote's emphasis on real-time network visibility is a crucial component in this partnership and highlights our ongoing investment in the mobile experience. By partnering with Zenprise, the leader in BlackBerry trouble shooting software, customers receive immediate notification of any carrier, server infrastructure, or device issue that impacts BlackBerry users."
