Novell Gets Equal Time

Novell Gets Equal Time

SCO Group CEO Darl McBride got to lay out his legal cases and his views on intellectual property, the GPL and the profit motive for the benefit of the Harvard Law School and the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology on Monday. We gather Novell vice-chairman Chris Stone demanded equal time because he's going to speak at the same venue on Monday, February 23 at 6:30 pm. He'll probably get a friendlier reception from the fashionably PC audience. One thing Darl said that we hadn't heard before was that Novell's rights shrink because it's gone into the direct competition with SCO by buying SUSE. See http://jolt.law.harvard.edu for the Webcast.
