"In the past year, many innovative enterprises began to adopt the mashup paradigm because of its obvious ability to speed development, reduce IT costs and create new competitive advantages,” said Joe Keller, CMO of Kapow Technologies.

Kapow also passed several other major milestones in FY07, including:
- Strengthened the company’s market positions in financial services, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications, IT, and Web 2.0 companies.
- Announced two new versions of the Kapow Mashup Server, broadening its enterprise footprint into the Web 2.0 and Enterprise Content Management space. The company also continued to build out its technology platform and support new Web 2.0 technologies including AJAX, Ruby, REST, RSS, SOAP and PHP.
- Forged new alliances with BEA (AquaLogic Pages), Backbase, EMC Documentum, IBM (QED Wiki), Nexaweb, Proto Software, and StrikeIron.
- Opened a regional office in Japan and received recognition in Nikkei Computer for a successful project with KDDI.
- The Kapow Mashup Server was named a finalist in the JOLT Award Competition, and received many positive reviews from the technical press.
- Introduced openkapow, the premier development community to provide educational and technical resources to foster widespread adoption of the enterprise mashup paradigm.
Overall the company has enjoyed 50% year over year growth, and the addition of more than 50 new enterprise customers in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007.
To foster and manage further company growth in FY 2008 and beyond, John Cimral has joined the management team as CEO, and company founder Stefan Andreasen is thus transitioning from CEO to CTO.
