"We are pleased to welcome Jeffrey Walker as a speaker at SOA World Conference & Expo 2007 East in New York," said SYS-CON Group Publisher and Editorial Director Roger Strukhoff, who also serves as the Conference Chair. "His presentation on how to integrate business logic with SOA-compliant applications addresses a uniquely important issue, and our delegates will be very well served by Jeff's knowledge and insight."
"Successful SOA strategies require an agile development platform, a robust and flexible applications infrastructure, and the empowerment of the right resources - those who understand the business processes - to build, manage, and continually improve that applications infrastructure," said Mr. Walker. "We believe the right resources do not have to be programmers as long as they can effectively communicate with the business users to understand how to support and improve upon the business processes that the end users perform and manage day to day.
According to Mr. Walker, "EnterpriseTenFold SOA is the agile-platform that empowers those key staff. Since there is no programming involved when building TenFold-powered applications and services, one or two staff who understand the business, can produce powerful, scalable, feature-rich SOA-compliant services in weeks instead of months or years."
Jeffrey L. Walker founded TenFold in February 1993. Today, he is TenFold's Chief Technology Officer. Before TenFold, Mr. Walker was the designer of Oracle's applications products and founder of its applications products business, and served in many capacities at Oracle from 1985 to 1991. Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Walker founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Walker Interactive Products.
