In Silicon Valley, at the inaugural AJAXWorld last October, attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and the technology press were all agreed: 'The AJAX moment' has arrived. Since then Rich Internet and Web 2.0-style applications have moved along by leaps and bounds, and on this coming Monday, March 19, AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2007 East will open in New York City, with twice the number of attendees, three times the number of the exhibitors, four times the number of sponsors - and ten times the buzz, the AJAX buzz that heralds the arrival of a New Web in which the user comes first, a web as a platform for enterprise (and social) applications.
