(SYS-CON Media) Bluewolf and salesforce.com have announced the availability of MediaTrak for salesforce.com's AppExchange. Bluewolf's MediaTrak allows media and entertainment organizations to instantly deploy a customized version of Salesforce to manage complex relationships and automate insertion order processing, across print, broadcast, and interactive revenue channels. Built using the Apex on-demand platform, and salesforce.com's Winter '07 release, MediaTrak is immediately available for test drive and deployment on the AppExchange directory. It is the sixth application posted by Bluewolf in the AppExchange. Bluewolf's MediaTrak is the result of their experience with more than 50 Salesforce deployments within the media and entertainment industry, including such organizations as Fox Interactive Media, The Economist, and Rolling Stone Magazine. Specifically, the solution enables media companies to:
* Manage the complex sales relationships that exist between clients, advertising agencies, and brands
* Capture and process insertion orders through pre-built screens and workflows
* Deploy a "multi-channel single client" database, enabling cross-selling and giving organizations a 360 degree view of the client
"Media companies are faced with the challenge of selling across multiple channels," commented Chris Pattie, media solution architect, Bluewolf. "MediaTrak speaks the language of the advertising sales organization and streamlines their ability to sell ads, process orders, and close more deals."
"Salesforce.com customers in the media and entertainment industry can now visit the AppExchange and find excellent solutions, such as MediaTrak, that are customized for the specific needs of their industry," said Matt Holleran, vice president, AppExchange partners, salesforce.com. "Bluewolf is harnessing the power of Apex and the AppExchange to deliver a solution that enables media organizations worldwide to reap the benefits of The Business Web."
Apex is the on-demand platform for the next generation of business applications. Apex reinvents traditional customization and integration and enables a whole new generation of on-demand applications that go beyond CRM. All Apex components and applications can be easily shared, exchanged and installed with a few simple clicks via salesforce.com's AppExchange directory, enabling all the innovation that Apex unleashes to benefit the entire on-demand community.
