“Customers have a choice, so in every contact with The Planet, our goal is to exceed their expectations,” said Vice President of Marketing Steve Kahan. “Whether it’s learning about server offerings, configuring a system or contacting customer support, our new Web site and Orbit customer portal have been designed to deliver a first-rate experience. Our new sites create a better world for their businesses.”
New Content for Products & Services
The new corporate Web site provides a streamlined and engaging overview for identifying the best products and services for a customer’s business. With improved agility, the site is far easier to navigate and provides a much-improved interactive experience:
Product Overview: With a new intuitive product naming convention, customers can compare server lines side-by-side to determine the best choice for their businesses based on the relative performance capabilities of each package. The product lines carry intuitive naming conventions including Entry-Level, Mid-Level and High-Performance, and also a new Economy Line.
Build a Server, See the Price: After selecting a server, customers simply mouse over the product to build their selection. With each choice, the cost is automatically configured in a single view before proceeding to the shopping cart.
Accessible Information: Whether it’s managed solutions for e-mail or Web hosting, to databases and social media – or specialized solutions for gaming or colocation – The Planet has sectioned its services to make it easier for customers to find the products they require.
Service That Delivers: The Planet also clearly enumerates new services options, including Built-In Value Support that is free for all servers, except the new Economy line. With guaranteed uptimes of 99.9 percent for all customers – and 100 percent for those who select the managed services options – the company underscores its promise to deliver top-quality support.
Customers Validate Their Choices: In the new “Our Customers” success story library, prospective customers can read first-hand accounts of how companies are solving business challenges using services from The Planet.
