The new web-based calendar enhances communication and collaboration by allowing business associates and individuals to schedule events that recur daily, weekly, monthly, or annually; view appointments in "day," "week," or "month" calendar layouts; and send and receive invitations with Everyone.net Web Mail, Microsoft Outlook, and all email applications that support the iCalendar standard. The invitations, if accepted, automatically appear in the recipients' calendar of choice, complete with reminders. The web-based calendar is flexible and convenient, offering access any time, from any iCalendar-compliant device. The calendar is based on AJAX, a combination of development languages for creating interactive web applications, which improves usability and response time. When a user adds an event or appointment, accepts an invitation, or changes the calendar view, the application automatically updates without requiring the browser to refresh or reload. The calendar upgrade is one of many advanced features of the Everyone.net email service packages. A complete, carrier-class, reliable email offering for businesses of all sizes and individual users, Everyone.net email services deliver robust, comprehensive email without the high cost and ongoing upkeep of building and maintaining an in-house email system.
