The new ‘task entry grid’ allows project managers to enter tasks in their project schedules in a grid-like fashion, which emulates a desktop environment, making project creation faster and effortless. AJAX technology is used to enhance the application’s performance. Other software improvements include: on demand training, drag and drop, shared custom reports, mass assignment of resources by company, group and department, elapsed days, delay days, and 508 compliance.
“Our customers are very pleased with this release, especially the task entry grid. Now creating project schedules is even easier than before. We have incorporated over 100 customer feature requests in this release. Listening to our customers is making Project Insight the strongest project management solution in the mid-range market,” said Metafuse president, Steve West.
