Neotys Partners With Tata Consultancy Services to Deliver Application Performance Testing for Web and Mobile Applications

Integrates NeoLoad Into TCS Application Performance Testing Solution to Provide End-to-End Offering for Customers

WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwired - August 20, 2014) - Neotys, a leader in easy-to-use, cost effective load testing tools for web and mobile applications, today announced that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has selected NeoLoad, the company's leading load and performance testing solution, to deliver end-to-end application performance testing services.

Using NeoLoad, TCS consultants can generate real-life load, emulate the production network, including mobile network conditions, and manage performance requirements. This ultimately improves the performance of mission-critical web-based and mobile services, reduces customer churn, lowers the lost revenue opportunities and improves operational efficiency.

TCS is using NeoLoad to realistically simulate user activity and analyze server behavior. NeoLoad allows TCS consultants to test more efficiently and support the latest technologies such as Flex, Silverlight, GWT, Ajax Push, HTML5 etc. TCS will also use NeoLoad across the major application types including ERP and CRM from the major providers.

"NeoLoad is a strategic component of our Performance Testing as a Service offering. Using NeoLoad our performance engineers can test more quickly, more efficiently and more frequently, providing higher value to our customers," said Siva Ganesan, Vice President & Global Head of Assurance Services at TCS.

"As one of the world's leading IT consulting organizations, this partnership is strategic to Neotys and we look forward to the expanded reach that TCS will provide to us," said Thibaud Bussière, Chairman Neotys. "NeoLoad enables TCS teams to test applications faster without causing bottlenecks in the development process. Developers and testers gain immediate, actionable insight allowing them to fix performance issues early in the application lifecycle. Shifting performance test execution from a final project phase to a business critical process enables IT organizations to be more agile while supporting enhanced quality and faster time to market."

In his session at 21st Cloud Expo, Michael Burley, a Senior Business Development Executive in IT Services at NetApp, described how NetApp designed a three-year program of work to migrate 25PB of a major telco's enterprise data to a new STaaS platform, and then secured a long-term contract to manage and operate the platform. This significant program blended the best of NetApp’s solutions and services capabilities to enable this telco’s successful adoption of private cloud storage and launching of virtual storage services to its enterprise market.
Despite being the market leader, we recognized the need to transform and reinvent our business at Dynatrace, before someone else disrupted the market. Over the course of three years, we changed everything - our technology, our culture and our brand image. In this session we'll discuss how we navigated through our own innovator's dilemma, and share takeaways from our experience that you can apply to your own organization.
When building large, cloud-based applications that operate at a high scale, it’s important to maintain a high availability and resilience to failures. In order to do that, you must be tolerant of failures, even in light of failures in other areas of your application. “Fly two mistakes high” is an old adage in the radio control airplane hobby. It means, fly high enough so that if you make a mistake, you can continue flying with room to still make mistakes. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, Lee Atchison, Principal Cloud Architect and Advocate at New Relic, will discuss how this same philosophy can be applied to highly scaled applications, and can dramatically increase your resilience to failure.
