N-series v2.0 Firmware Adds Support for New Versions of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop and VDI-in-a-Box, Provides Boost in Performance

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/20/14 -- NComputing, a leader in client virtualization solutions, today announced the latest major release of its firmware for the N-series line of Certified Citrix-Ready HDX Verified thin clients. N-series 2.0 includes a number of key enhancements which broadens support to the latest Citrix virtual desktop environments, including integration of Citrix Receiver for Linux 13.0 and support for XenApp® and XenDesktop® 7.1 and 7.5, VDI-in-a-Box™ 5.4, as well as select StoreFront and NetScaler configurations. The expanded solutions support gives those Citrix customers who plan to upgrade their solutions ahead of the curve the opportunity to also drastically reduce their VDI costs without sacrificing their HDX experience.

Originally launched in late 2012, the NComputing N-series is uniquely built to support only Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and VDI-in-a-Box environments to ensure that Citrix end users receive the best possible user experience.
