IntelePeer Announces the Election of Lawrence R. Irving as Chairman of the Board

Veteran Board Member Selected to Lead the Company's Accelerated Growth Phase

SAN MATEO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/20/14 -- IntelePeer, a leading provider of on-demand, cloud-based communications, today announced that its board of directors has elected Lawrence R. Irving as its new chairman of the board.

A board member and audit committee chairman since 2012, Irving brings a wealth of industry knowledge in the enterprise market.

In addition to his role at IntelePeer, Irving was previously chief financial officer at Synchronoss Technologies, a Nasdaq-listed company that is a leader in cloud solutions and software-based activation for communication services providers across the globe. He has also worked as chief financial officer for CommTech Corporation, a leader in the communications software sector, and Holmes Protection Group, a Nasdaq company that provided electronic security services.

Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pace University and is a certified public accountant. In 2009, he won the New Jersey CFO of the Year Award and in 2012 the New Jersey Technology Council CFO Hall of Fame award. Irving is a member of the Advisory Board of the New Jersey Technology Council - CFO Network.
