CRM magazine announced the recipients of its 2014 CRM Market Awards in its August 2014 issue. The 13th annual CRM Market Awards honor the vendors, consultants, and client companies focused on enhancing customer experiences and relationships through the sophisticated integration of people, processes, and technologies.
In total, 36 vendors are recognized in this year’s CRM Market Leader Awards across 10 industry categories. This tendency, what some call the “newest shiny object syndrome,” is understandable given that virtually all of us are heavily engaged in technology. But it is also mistaken. Without concrete business cases driving its deployment, IoT, like many other technologies before it, will fade into obscurity.
