Keek Taps Dimi Paun as Its First Chief Technology Officer

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - August 13, 2014) - Keek Inc. (TSX VENTURE: KEK) (OTCQX: KEEKF) announced today that it has hired Dimi Paun as its first Chief Technology Officer. Paun brings over 20 years of experience and tenacious innovation to Keek. Savvy in business and technology, Paun created several successful products and founded a number of companies including: Zipalong, Flex, Radiobin, GoodCall and Lattica. He's an alumni of The University of Toronto.

Paun has an expertise in creating and managing all elements of technological projects including: design, development, testing and implementation. Paun will report to CEO Alexandra Cameron. While the majority of the management team is now largely based in New York, Paun will be situated in the Toronto office so that he can work closely with the IT and Development teams.

Paun will bring technical expertise and leadership to the product roadmap and design future innovations for Keek. As the product team enhances and evolves the Keek user experience, he will support those efforts through technology strategy and implementation.

"The opportunity at Keek combines my interest in social media and my firm belief that the video sharing space is poised for further growth," said Paun. "I am excited to work with the team to lead innovation in this space and have strong ideas about how we will use technology to help users connect in meaningful ways."

"We selected Dimi for his vast knowledge base, pure drive and experience in planning, designing, managing and delivering successful projects," said Cameron. "His demonstrated experience in architecture and supervising technical teams is exactly what we need to continue to revolutionize the Keek product."

"It was immediately apparent to us that Dimi is highly energized and intimately familiar with our tech stack," said Chief Product Officer Jamie King. "Dimi has extensive experience with start-ups, both technically and culturally. It's not often you get to work with a CTO who cares about the 'soul' of the product. Dimi doesn't see obstacles, he recognizes opportunities, and he embraces these opportunities with a blazing intensity. I'm looking forward to a strong partnership with him and innovating on behalf of the Keek vision."

Since April 2014, Keek has named four new executives to its management team including CEO Alexandra Cameron, CMO Lin Dai, Chief Product Officer Jamie King and SVP Monetization and Sales Solutions Bill Blummer.
