Public Sector Technology Providers Invest in Infor

Infor Forms New Partnerships to Increase Resources for Public Agencies

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - August 11, 2014) - Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced new alliance partnerships with Groupe CMI, John Bean Technologies and Westin Engineering. Headquartered in North America, these leading IT service providers will join the Infor Partner Network (IPN) to support the selection, delivery and maintenance of multiple Infor products, with a specific focus on the Public Sector. While each company will work with different applications such as Infor Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Infor Lawson and Infor ION, they will all serve as valuable resources for Infor customers that operate in government, utilities, transportation, public safety, and education verticals.

"We chose to form an alliance partnership with Infor because they continue to deliver industry-leading innovations and develop their product roadmaps to better meet customer needs," said Mélanie Labbé, partner, Groupe CMI. "Working with the Infor Lawson Suite, Infor SunSystems and Infor Supply Chain Management (SCM) will give us an opportunity to serve organizations in the public sector, as well as healthcare facilities throughout the US and Canada."

Since its inception, the IPN has enabled Infor partners to establish a profitable and sustainable business built around Infor technology suites. Infor applications for the public sector are specifically designed for all levels of government and are currently used by more than 3,600 organizations globally, including 16 of the 20 largest US cities and 19 or the 20 largest states. These alliance partners will help public organizations to optimize capital investments, maximize revenue, improve cross-agency collaboration, and better serve the growing expectations of citizens.

"Infor is always looking for partners that are specialized and possess in-depth industry knowledge, as this enables them to more effectively deliver our technologies suites, which are built for specific micro-verticals," said Lynn Sauder, vice president, Global Alliance and Channels, Infor. "Groupe CMI, John Bean Technologies and Westin Engineering all meet this requirement and have demonstrated that they will be valuable assets to our customers as well."
