Infor Signs Global Corporate Framework Agreement With Kempinski Hotels

Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin Is First Hotel to Migrate to Infor EzRMS Under New Strategic Agreement

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - August 04, 2014) - Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced that Kempinski Hotels, Europe's oldest luxury hotel group, has signed a new global framework agreement for Infor EzRMS. The Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin will be the first European hotel to take advantage of the new agreement and is the fourth of the group's 73 five-star hotels in 31 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia to opt for Infor EzRMS. Infor EzRMS will be hosted in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model by Infor and will enable revenue managers at Kempinski hotels to optimize and increase revenues by using Infor's powerful and proven forecast and optimization engines.

Better understanding of revenue and pricing data was a key objective for the corporate office of Kempinski Hotels. After a detailed evaluation, Kempinski was particularly pleased with Infor EzRMS's extensive functionality and Total Revenue Management approach. Revenue directors will benefit from an integrated tool that delivers detailed reporting, competitor set data analysis, forecasting, dynamic pricing, budgeting, and contract and performance management as well as tracking of online reputation. Infor's transaction level data analytics also allows for more detailed insights and better decision making. Kempinski's corporate office will benefit from regional and centralized views of hotel data including multiple revenues, channels, companies, room type production, revenue forecasts and more.

"As the oldest luxury hotel group in Europe, we look for innovation in hospitality without losing sight of our brand heritage," said Riko van Santen, vice president of Digital Strategy, Revenue and Distribution at Kempinski Hotels. "That's why we chose to intensify our partnership with Infor. We share Infor's exciting vision of the future of hospitality and trust Infor to be a strategic partner as a leading player in the global hospitality market."

Infor EzRMS is part of Infor CloudSuite Hospitality™, a set of industry-specific, cloud-based solutions. This new framework will help revenue directors by integrating relevant information such as reputation data, in-context web-analytics and weather reports. Infor EzRMS data is also used to enhance other Infor applications. This includes sending forecasting data to Infor Human Capital Management (HCM) for better human resource planning or to Infor Dynamic Enterprise Performance Management (d/EPM) to help hotels drive performance and profitability by looking at forecasting, revenues and costs.

"The Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin is without a doubt one of the most renowned hotels in the world and a true landmark of excellence in Germany's hospitality market. The fact that the Adlon decided to migrate to Infor EzRMS under the new agreement between Kempinski Hotels underpins our strategy of delivering superior industry-specific functionality and first-class service and support around the globe with a local touch," said Wolfgang Emperger, regional vice president, EMEA for Infor Hospitality. "Our superior granular based forecasts, proven ability to increase revenue performance as well as the offer of local revenue management knowledge and support were all key factors in Adlon's decision to choose Infor EzRMS."
