“As global businesses modernize and upgrade existing applications and systems, the need to validate business processes becomes increasingly critical,” said Melinda Ballou, program director for IDC's Application Lifecycle Management and Executive Strategies service. “The user experience is key. It’s unacceptable to have process failures due to technology problems. With today’s unprecedented pace of technology change and complexity levels, more and more companies are recognizing the benefits of automation to validate their end-to-end business processes across the entire enterprise SAP landscape,” she said.

Worksoft’s end-to-end business process validation platform helps organizations validate business process quality on a 24/7 basis, shorten project timelines, improve agility and identify and resolve system defects before they impact operations. Worksoft’s flagship product, Worksoft Certify®, brings speed and agility to SAP and the ecosystem of software that surrounds it by automating business process validation across all enterprise applications and interfaces — including browser-based technologies, hybrid cloud environments, and mobile platforms. Disruption, Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Leadership and Management hear these words all day every day... lofty goals but how do we make it real? Add to that, that simply put, people don't like change. But what if we could implement and utilize these enterprise tools in a fast and "Non-Disruptive" way, enabling us to glean insights about our business, identify and reduce exposure, risk and liability, and secure business continuity?
When building large, cloud-based applications that operate at a high scale, it's important to maintain a high availability and resilience to failures. In order to do that, you must be tolerant of failures, even in light of failures in other areas of your application. "Fly two mistakes high" is an old adage in the radio control airplane hobby. It means, fly high enough so that if you make a mistake, you can continue flying with room to still make mistakes. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, Lee Atchison, Principal Cloud Architect and Advocate at New Relic, discussed how this same philosophy can be applied to highly scaled applications, and can dramatically increase your resilience to failure.
Digital transformation has increased the pace of business creating a productivity divide between the technology haves and have nots. Managing financial information on spreadsheets and piecing together insight from numerous disconnected systems is no longer an option. Rapid market changes and aggressive competition are motivating business leaders to reevaluate legacy technology investments in search of modern technologies to achieve greater agility, reduced costs and organizational efficiencies. In this session, learn how today's business leaders are managing finance in the cloud and the essential steps required to get on the right path to creating an agile, efficient and future-ready business.
