Aspect Enterprise Solutions “Power Hours” Trader Webcast to Focus On Real-Time Data (RTD) Retrieval For Advanced Spreadsheet Analysis

Aspect Enterprise Solutions, a leading provider of multi-commodity trading and risk management Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications delivered in the Cloud, announces today its next session in its continuing series of monthly "Power Hours" complimentary Webcasts for traders. This month's topic is: "Advanced Excel Tools for Traders (RTD)".

This interactive E-learning tutorial will give a detailed look of how to use AspectDSC's real-time data retrieval tool (RTD) to link spreadsheets to the market and provide continuous real-time updates on benchmark pricing movements. Attendees will learn how to gain a competitive advantage through practical trading examples.

RTD, which stands for real-time data retrieval, offers a number of advantages over the older DDE (dynamic data exchange) links technology. RTD is a faster and more reliable option for intensive data usage and does not suffer from the occasional performance issues that can result with using DDE links for a large number of formulae in one sheet. In addition, DDE links lack a cell referencing capability which is now possible via RTD, enhancing the user experience for trading professionals and providing greater versatility. RTD gives users the option of a lag-free, faster and more reliable service, allowing quicker response times and more reliable access to crucial and ever changing commodity data.

This Webcast will be held on Thursday, November 28th at 9:00 a.m. EST / 14:00 BST. As with all "Power Hours" sessions, there will be Live Q & A during the event, and it will be recorded for future reference. Webcasts are held the fourth Thursday of every month. Sessions are open to Aspect customers and market participants interested in learning more.
