Jibestream Improves User Experience with Google Maps

In a previous blog post I discussed the tremendous growth of geospatial solutions, and one Cloud Sherpas customer, in particular, is a perfect demonstration of this growth.

Recently, Cloud Sherpas worked with Jibestream, a software company that delivers intelligent indoor wayfinding solutions, to implement Google Maps, and Jibestream’s story is an excellent illustration of how mapping solutions are playing an increasingly large role in our everyday lives.

Headquartered in Toronto, ON, Jibestream’s software uses real-time data management to help visitors and tenants quickly and easily navigate complex public buildings, such as hospitals, transport terminals, shopping malls and more. Previously, the company used kiosks located and in and around its customers’ facilities to deliver its software, but it was looking to improve its services by adding mobile capabilities to make its software even more accessible to everyone and by enhancing its exterior maps to deliver more comprehensive views of buildings. In order to achieve these goals, Jibestream decided to implement Google Maps with Cloud Sherpas’ help.

According to COO Bevan Hayes, “We originally thought that Google’s growth of its geospatial technology offerings might make the Jibestream software obsolete, but we soon discovered this is actually far from the truth. The combination of the two technologies is poised to deliver an even more powerful, innovative solution.” He shares that integrating both solutions will allow Jibestream to deliver better results at a more efficient pace, which will ultimately improve the end user experience.

The precious oil is extracted from the seeds of prickly pear cactus plant. After taking out the seeds from the fruits, they are adequately dried and then cold pressed to obtain the oil. Indeed, the prickly seed oil is quite expensive. Well, that is understandable when you consider the fact that the seeds are really tiny and each seed contain only about 5% of oil in it at most, plus the seeds are usually handpicked from the fruits. This means it will take tons of these seeds to produce just one bottle of the oil for commercial purpose. But from its medical properties to its culinary importance, skin lightening, moisturizing, and protection abilities, down to its extraordinary hair care properties, prickly seed oil has got lots of excellent rewards for anyone who pays the price.
