The latest enhancements include enhanced reporting, and user-based processing to improve performance and the overall user experience. GSX Monitor & Analyzer v10.5 will be showcased at MMS, the Microsoft Management Summit in Las Vegas, April 4-11.

SharePoint enhancements in GSX Monitor & Analyzer v10.5 include:

  • A new Overview console that automatically discovers and detects your entire SharePoint environment in a consolidated view.
  • Advanced SharePoint farm, server, and site management via full service tracking.
  • Monitoring site level performance and size.

Other GSX Monitor & Analyzer v10.5 enhancements include:

  • Wildcard searches using specific strings, rather than exact expressions, in Domino, BES, and SharePoint logs.
  • A Modularization and Prerequisites wizard that checks prerequisites for the selected platform's monitoring at GSX Monitor's first launch.
  • Enhanced Traveler Statistics table handling for the control of devices by user.

"We are delighted to announce our GSX Monitor & Analyzer v10.5 with significant SharePoint enhancements, as well as new tools for monitoring other systems across the board," said Antoine Leboyer, CEO of GSX. A recent study by analyst firm IDC reports that in 2012, 1.7 million cloud computing-related roles across the globe could not be filled due to the lack of training, certification and experience in the applicant pool. As the global demand for cloud and big data expertise increases, employers are finding it difficult to recruit talent, which is slowing down the ability for organizations to adopt, implement, and realize benefits from innovative platforms like OpenStack. Enterprises can't close their doors just because integration tools won't cope with the volume of information that their systems produce. As each day goes by, their information will become larger and more complicated, and enterprises must constantly struggle to manage the integration of dozens (or hundreds) of systems. Apache Hadoop has quickly become the technology of choice for enterprises that need to perform complex analysis of petabytes of data, but few are aware of its potential to hand...

If zettabytes of data exist, why is less than 1% of the world’s data being analyzed today? Seasoned entrepreneur and startup CEO Radhika Subramanian believes that the inability to analyze and gain value from Big Data is that organizations are taking a services-centered approach. As the title of the session implies, Subramanian believes that the data needs to do the talking, not armies of analysts searching and querying databases. Her company has developed high-speed, advanced algorithms to autom...
