Lotus TV Deploying Antix for its New Generation High Definition Game Service

LONDON, March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

Committed to deploying best in class in all classes of media

Rated the most popular foreign-language TV channel in Mainland China, broadcasting via satellite throughout Asia, Lotus TV Macau has announced that it will be launching its new Antix Game Service to continue with its philosophy of providing best-in-class media services. From 2013, Lotus TV will provide engaging games that consumers can play on their TV or STB as well as their PCs, phones and tablets.

Lotus TV management said, "Apple has shown the value of providing an easy-to-use, integrated game service. We are replicating that across many of the deployed non-Apple phones, tablets, PCs and TVs, with a strong focus on consumer needs and wishes. For us, this means providing the highest quality media in an environment making it easy and intuitive to discover, purchase, play and share. Selecting Antix as our platform was an obvious and simple decision; we believe that, in the non-Apple marketplace, Antix is well ahead of the pack in terms of quality of product and service."

Lotus will integrate a white-labelled version of the Antix Store with its advanced payment services to ensure highest quality user-experience for consumers as well as fulfilment efficiency on behalf of its publishers.

Francis Charig, Founder of Antix said, "We launched our service with an operator in Indonesia and now we're moving into collaboration with a broadcaster in China. Lotus has recognized that for the next five or more years, on-device gaming utilizing the power of the cloud is the future, and that Antix uniquely gives the company a substantial advantage."
