SeaPass Hub User Community Exceeds 6000 Agents – Growth of 1000% over the Past Year

SeaPass Solutions, Inc. (hub.seapass.com), a leading independent provider of web-based insurance distribution solutions to the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, today announced that the SeaPass Hub’s registered number of users now exceeds 6,000, representing an annual growth of more than 1000%.

The SeaPass Hub was developed to provide independent agents, wholesalers and aggregators a way to shop for and quote insurance online. With access to multiple product lines, from multiple carriers, agents are able to quickly obtain and compare premiums, and quote the majority of popular risks for their customers, including business owners policy (BOP), general liability (GL), package, commercial auto, workers compensation, and now surplus lines. This unique platform helps insurance industry partners serve all of the insurance needs of their customers, while driving market share, retention and increasing revenue per customer. The addition of the Hub offering for wholesalers, aggregators, and MGAs has added significantly to this year’s growth.

“This latest milestone validates the competitive value the SeaPass Hub provides for carriers as well as for independent agents and other distribution channels,” said Tim Attia, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SeaPass.“Given the rapid and broad adoption of our Hub, we are continually looking for and investing in new and better ways to deliver insurance to the industry – whether it’s buying, selling, or servicing.”

With an expectation of a strong increase in demand and continued growth in users, SeaPass plans to launch a new generation of the SeaPass Hub this year, leveraging the SeaPass BOLT Platform to offer market access, support for multiple distribution channels and an overall enhanced user experience.

Attia continued, “As the continued leader in web-based insurance distribution, we believe there is a significant opportunity to apply today’s technology to innovate and drive efficiencies in the insurance industry. This is the type of momentum that led us to develop a new platform that offers a better experience and will allow our customers to say “yes” more often to their clients.”

The SeaPass Hub™ delivers web-based commercial lines admitted & non-admitted quotes from multiple insurance carriers in two minutes or less. The easy to use SeaPass Hub™ service saves you time for what you do best: sell. Give your clients multiple quotes on-demand for multiple lines of business in one simple submission. "With Digital Experience Monitoring what used to be a simple visit to a web page has exploded into app on phones, data from social media feeds, competitive benchmarking - these are all components that are only available because of some type of digital asset," explained Leo Vasiliou, Director of Web Performance Engineering at Catchpoint Systems, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at DevOps Summit at 20th Cloud Expo, held June 6-8, 2017, at the Javits Center in New York City, NY.
"We were founded in 2003 and the way we were founded was about good backup and good disaster recovery for our clients, and for the last 20 years we've been pretty consistent with that," noted Marc Malafronte, Territory Manager at StorageCraft, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at 20th Cloud Expo, held June 6-8, 2017, at the Javits Center in New York City, NY.

The now mainstream platform changes stemming from the first Internet boom brought many changes but didn’t really change the basic relationship between servers and the applications running on them. In fact, that was sort of the point. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, Gordon Haff, senior cloud strategy marketing and evangelism manager at Red Hat, will discuss how today’s workloads require a new model and a new platform for development and execution. The platform must handle a wide range of recent developments, including containers and Docker, distributed resource management, and DevOps tool chains and processes. The resulting infrastructure and management framework must be optimized for distributed and scalable applications, take advantage of innovation stemming from a wide variety of open source projects, span hybrid environments, and be adaptable to equally fundamental changes happen...
