Turkish Ready to Wear Leader Aydınlı Group Selects Visual PLM.net

Montreal, Canada, February 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Visual 2000 International Inc. (http://www.visual-2000.com) announces that Turkish fashion leader Aydinli Group has begun implementation of the Visual PLM.net® product lifecycle management solution at its global headquarters in Istanbul. The vertical retailer will initially leverage the new software system to centralize and manage product images, information, specifications and tech packs for its own brand and licensed Pierre Cardin, Cacharel, and U.S. Polo Assn. collections. The company expects to reduce product development time and costs with the calendar and workflow management tools built into the system.

According to Aydinli General Manager, Osman Sentürk, “With the wide range of collections and products we handle, we needed a system that could help us simplify the pre-production process. Visual PLM.net will serve as a central, always up to date source of product information for our design and development teams. It will also help us speed up the process by increasing visibility and control of these tasks.”

Visual 2000 regional partner MY BILGI Co. is providing implementation services at Aydinli. Once core Product Data Management (PDM) capabilities of the system are in place, the company will extend use of the system across its supply chain to enhance supplier collaboration and track process milestones.

“We will take advantage of the many capabilities the system offers,” explained Hakan Duran, Aydinli IT Director. “We already have plans to move our line planning activities to Visual PLM.net to streamline and focus our merchandising and design activities. We also want to interface the PLM with our SAP® Enterprise (ERP) system to tie the whole concept to consumer process together.”

“We are pleased with the opportunity to work with Aydinli,” said Tony Walker, Visual 2000 European Sales Director. “Their growing matrix of brands and styles represents the reason so many companies in this region are looking to Visual PLM.net for the order and control it brings to the fashion process. We look forward to helping Aydinli achieve their business goals through the use of this technology.”

“We are delighted to partner with Visual 2000 for the Aydinli implementation,” added MY BILGI Project Coordinator M. Emrah Evliyaoglu.
