NanoTech's Media Provides Proprietary 3D Technology to Launch the New On Demand Content System from 3D Crave

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NANOTECH ENTERTAINMENT (PINKSHEETS: NTEK)  today announced from the CES in Las Vegas that it has completed a development contract with 3D Crave to provide its proprietary Side By Side user interface technology to 3D Crave for their upcoming Roku Channel.

NanoTech Media has the only fully immersive 3D user interface available on the Roku platform.  The proprietary system provides users with a continuous 3D experience from the moment the channel is launched.  Unlike other so called 3D channels on Roku, users don't have to toggle their TV back and forth between 2D mode and 3D mode every time they use the menu to select 3D content for viewing.

"The NanoTech team are the only people to have solved the problem of providing a 3D user interface and menu system on the Roku Platform," stated Jose Luis Marra, co-founder of 3D Crave.  "NanoTech immediately demonstrated technical expertise and was able to quickly provide a unique solution that has been integrated into our channel providing us with a great user experience"

NanoTech CEO Jeffrey A. Foley commented, "NanoTech is committed to providing ground breaking technology.  Our team has a rich history of innovation in every market that we have been in and continue to create state of the art solutions.   We were excited when the 3D Crave team approached us to use our technology in crafting their channel."

With 3D Television sales breaking records in 2012, NanoTech is poised as a market leader in providing its proprietary 3D TV technology.  "Users want a smooth experience when viewing 3D content and by using NanoTech's system, 3D Crave provides a seamless and unique experience."

Cloud Expo Breaking News
The massive computing and storage resources that are needed to support big data applications make cloud environments an ideal fit. In Nati Shalom's upcoming session at 12th Cloud Expo | Cloud Expo New York [June 10-13, 2013], you'll learn how to build your big data "database on-demand" using MongoDB, Cassandra, Solr, MySQL, or any other big data solution, as well as manage your big data application using a new open source framework called “Cloudify.” All this, on top of the OpenStack cloud.
Planning scalable environments isn't terribly difficult, but it does require a change of perspective. During this session we'll broaden our views to think on an Internet Scale by dissecting a video publishing application built with The SoftLayer Platform, Message Queuing, Object Storage, and Drupal. By examining a scalable modular application build that can handle unpredictable traffic, you'll be able to grow your development arsenal and pick up a few strategies to apply to your own projects.
If zettabytes of data exist, why is less than 1% of the world’s data being analyzed today? Seasoned entrepreneur and startup CEO Radhika Subramanian believes that the inability to analyze and gain value from Big Data is that organizations are taking a services-centered approach. As the title of the session implies, Subramanian believes that the data needs to do the talking, not armies of analysts searching and querying databases. Her company has developed high-speed, advanced algorithms to autom...
