Call U Solves the Challenges of Joining and Managing Audio Conference Calls

Swivel Chair Development Launches Call U Conferencing, Founded by Industry Veterans

SCHAUMBURG, IL--(Marketwire - November 28, 2012) -  Swivel Chair Development, LLC, a software development firm founded by Tim Reedy and Greg Doerr, formerly CEO & COO respectively, of ConferencePlus, today announced the launch of Call U ConferencingCall U dramatically improves how conferencing participants join an audio conference call and makes the process safer and more secure than what is currently offered in the conferencing market. The Swivel Chair co-founders are conferencing industry veterans who have extensive experience at leading Conferencing Service Providers (CSPs) and building and scaling conferencing service systems and organizations.

"The Call U Conferencing service eliminates dial-in numbers and passcodes that are the foundation for how CSPs operate today," said Tim Reedy, CEO and Co-Founder of Swivel Chair. "Our experience in the conferencing industry drove us to develop a service that has unmatched capability and makes the 'Conference Join' process as simple as answering your phone."

Call U Conferencing provides a safe and secure environment by eliminating static dial-in numbers and passcodes and using the meeting management tools people use today. With a simple calendar invitation and our patent-pending technology, Hosts get a conference call that is targeted only to their invitees. Invitees are connected to their conference call according to their individual requirements. The Call U service also eliminates the sharing of conference call access information by tying conference access to your email address and forcing a One Identity, One Connection paradigm.

"Call U Conferencing is developed using the latest in Web 2.0 technologies and brings ultimate flexibility to the customer," said Greg Doerr, CTO and Co-Founder of Swivel Chair. "The service is deployed in the cloud and has an architecture that enhances reliability and allows for rapid scalability and quick expansion to global locations. The Call U Conferencing service has built-in language capability and branding options available to partners, customers, and resellers along with a variety of customization options including personalized greetings, real-time recording and a fully automatic Name Announce feature that doesn't require users to record their name at conference entry."

Call U Conferencing is flexible and customizable on a per-user basis. The service can notify participants by text or email prior to a conference call and provides a variety of ways for participants to connect to their conference calls. The dial-out service enables participants to join simply by answering their phone when a conference call starts or by connecting themselves using a link embedded in a text message or email. In the event that users absolutely need to dial in to the conference call, Call U provides a secure, individualized passcode that can be used for the duration of the conference. The service can even provide a dial-in phone number based on your current location.

"Call U Conferencing has a unique and compelling solution to the 'Conferencing Join' and secure call problem and have implemented a simple and easy way to address the deficiencies in the current service offerings pervasive in the market today," said Marc Beattie, Managing Partner for Wainhouse Research. "We are excited to see Swivel Chair solve this critical area of the user experience and expect it will assist to accelerate the growth of conferencing."

Call U Conferencing will launch as a beta service to customers in the first quarter of 2013. Those partners or customers who would like to participate in this beta trial should contact Tim Reedy at treedy@swvlchair.com or Greg Doerr at gdoerr@swvlchair.com.
