Interxion to Present on the Future of Digital Media at Telx Marketplace LIVE Event

INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE: INXN), a leading European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data center services, today announced that Jonathan Wood, Marketing and Business Development Director of Digital Media, will speak at this year’s Marketplace LIVE event at the TimesCenter in New York, NY. Jonathan will present as part of the session The Future of Digital Media on November 28 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST. Jonathan will be joined by key spokespeople in the digital media community from leading companies, including Associated Press, CME Telx, Sony Play Station and Netflix.

The proliferation of digital content is driving an uptick in consumer expectations for high quality of experience anywhere, anytime and on the device of their choosing. To meet the challenges of a connected, always-on world, creators, publishers and distributors of digital media content need online infrastructure that is robust and resilient. Additionally, digital media providers’ infrastructure must be scalable, with redundant connectivity to ensure optimum performance for increasingly real-time and latency-sensitive entertainment services.

In this session, attendees will learn what IT infrastructure digital media companies need in order to deliver the best user experience possible in a reliable, safe, high-quality manner. Additionally, the panel will discuss trends in digital news, streaming video, and gaming across online, social, and mobile platforms. The presentation will also highlight key takeaways for the future of digital media to demonstrate how companies can avoid common problems and plan for the future.

At Interxion, Jonathan is instrumental in the strategic development and implementation of Interxion’s digital media content hubs. Prior to holding his current position, he served in a number of senior sales, product and business development positions at corporations within the international telecoms arena including TeliaSonera and Cable and Wireless.

The Telx Marketplace LIVE will bring together over 300 industry leaders and 60 high-profile technology exhibitors for a full day of networking and exploring new business opportunities. Follow and engage with Interxion on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

You're getting pitched every day from your legacy enterprise software and hardware vendors about "cloud."
