1-800 Radiator & AC Announces Kent Godfrey as a Member of the Company's Board of Directors

BENICIA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/02/12 -- Kent Godfrey has joined 1-800 Radiator & A/C as a member of the company's Board of Directors. "I am honored to be asked by 1-800-Radiator and its management team to help the company expand its leadership position in radiators into numerous other auto parts categories. They have already established themselves as leaders in the use of technology in the distribution of automotive parts, and I look forward to helping the team expand on this position," said Kent Godfrey. Kent will be joining Ken Walker who also recently joined the board.

Kent has thirty years of experience in the high technology industry and in venture capital. In the late 1990s he was one of the web's pioneers in web personalization, as Chairman and C.E.O. of Andromedia, Inc. In 1999 Andromedia was acquired by Macromedia (now merged with Adobe). Kent then went on to become Chairman and CEO of Frictionless Commerce, which became the leader in automating the strategic sourcing and procurement business processes for some of the world's largest corporations. Frictionless was acquired by SAP in 2006.

Since 2006 Kent has been a Partner at Pond Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on the high technology industry. Kent currently serves on the board of directors for two other companies and has previously served on ten additional corporate boards as well as nine years on the Board of Trustees for the Seven Hills School, six of which he served as the Board President.

Kent received a B.S. degree from Babson College in 1980, and a Master of Science degree from The London School of Economics in 1983.

1-800-Radiator & A/C is the leading distributor of aftermarket automotive cooling parts in North America.
