AJAX Sponsor Webcasts Are Now Available at AJAXWorld Website

AJAXWorld readers can now view Adobe, telerik, Backbase, and TIBCO's live presentations online

Live Webcasts of four sponsor sessions from the New York "Real-World AJAX" event are now available at the conference Website.

These Webcasts which are now available online are Sahil Malik's (telerik) "How to Take Desktop Applications to the Web" session, Christophe Coenraets' (Adobe) "Extending AJAX with Adobe Flex " session, Jouk Pleiter's (Backbase) "AJAX Best Practices" session, and Kevin Hakman's (TIBCO) "The Four Quantum States of AJAX" session.

The 12-hour event with its entire 11 sessions is also available as an on-demand product, in an easy to navigate DVD for all delegates of "Real-World AJAX" and "AJAXWorld Conference & Expo."

The first Real-World AJAX event took place on Monday, March 13, 2006 in New York City featuring 15 speakers in 11 sessions, including the world’s most renowned AJAX experts. Seminar attendees also got a chance to hear from leading AJAX technology companies with presentations of their real-world AJAX solutions and accompanying Q&A discussions.

More than 400 delegates attended and more than 15,000 SYS-CON.TV viewers tuned into the simulcast of the March 13 event, which Bacbase news blog calls "It was a great day, and certainly the first major Ajax Event in the World."

“By now there isn't a software developer on earth who isn't aware of the collection of programming technologies known as AJAX,” said Jeremy Geelan, group publisher and editorial director of SYS-CON Media. “But you can't bank awareness. So, how in concrete terms can you take advantage in your own projects of this newly popular way of delivering online content to users without reloading an entire page? How soon can you be monetizing AJAX? This "Real-World AJAX" One-Day Seminar aims to answer these exact questions. Led by "The Father of AJAX" himself, the charismatic Jesse James Garrett of Adaptive Path, "Real-World AJAX" has one overriding organizing principle: its aim is to make sure that delegates fortunate enough to secure themselves a place before they're all sold out will leave the seminar with a sufficient grasp of Asynchronous JavaScript and XML to enable them to build their first AJAX application on their own when they get back to their office.

AJAXWorld Conference & Expo Announced!
SYS-CON Events announced the that the East Coast  international AJAXWorld Conference & Expo to take place on March 10-21, 2007, in New York City and more that 1,000 delgates fromaround the world is expected to attend the second international AJAXWorld. The world-beating conference program will provide developers, IT managers, and corporate decision makers with comprehensive information and insight into the biggest paradigm shift in Website design, development, and deployment since the invention of the World Wide Web a decade ago.

The next-generation user-centric Web is hurtling toward us and it is a rich-media future in which AJAX, the most talked about of all the Rich Internet technologies, is positioned firmly at center stage.

Burton Group defines “Rich” Internet Applications as those that offer functionality beyond standard HTML frames and hyperlinks, the most famous examples of such functionality on the Web to date being the AJAX-based Google Maps and Gmail.

AjaxWorld Conference & Expo 2006 recognizes that, while on the one hand Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) as a category is wider and broader than just AJAX, on the other it is indisputably AJAX that has acted as the tipping point.

The program will also cover in detail the other IDEs available for AJAX that are not yet mainstream, like JavaScript Synthesis Technology (JST), IntelliJ IDEA 5.0, Visual GUI Builder, Backbase, and the open source Ruby on Rails framework.

“Over the two information-packed days, delegates will receive four days’ worth of education, as speaker after speaker explores AJAX and RIAs in the greater context of the overall Web 2.0 spectrum,” said Jeremy Geelan, conference chair and group publisher of SYS-CON Media. “Delegates will also receive all conference sessions in SYS-CON.TV’s now ‘most popular’ Webcast DVDs, thus, not missing a single session of this ground-breaking event of the year.”

AjaxWorld will feature a faculty of more than 100 distinguished speakers, presenting more than 96 sessions, keynotes, and power panel discussions, in seven simultaneous tracks for two days. Call for papers for AjaxWorld will remain open through June 30, 2006, at www.AJAXWorldExpo.com.

The first international AJAXWorld Conference & Expo which took place on October 2 - 4, 2006, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA is sponsored by Adobe, Amazon, Apress, Backbase, ComponentArt, Cynergy Systems, Google, Helmi Technologies, IBM, ICEsoft, ILOG, Infragistics, JackBe, Laszlo Systems, Nexaweb, OASIS, Parasoft, Sun Microsystems, telerik, TIBCO, U7 Web Technologies, Visible Measures, Zapatec; including media sponsors AJAX Matters, AJAXWorld Magazine, BZ Media, ColdFusion Developer's Journal, DevtownStation.com, Eclipse Developer's Journal, Eclipse Review, Enterprise Open Source Magazine, Integration Developer News, ITtoolbox.com, Java Developer's Journal, LinuxWorld.com, Methods & Tools, Network World, Open Enterprise Trends, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Journal, SD Times, Software Test & Performance, SOA Web Services Journal, SYS-CON.TV, Web 2.0 Journal, and Web Developer's & Designer's Journal.
