The development of LiveNews by Dow Jones Labs is the latest in a series of market-leading innovations. Dow Jones Labs recently launched LiveQuotes on MarketWatch, which like WSJ.com is published by Dow Jones. LiveQuotes is an application of
Earlier this month, the Online Journal launched its first redesign of its home page since 2002 in order to enhance the site's ease of use, and added new options to its industry-leading personalization features.
Building on those changes, the site also plans to enhance its personalization significantly in the coming months. It will introduce a new technology that will allow readers to personalize the news that is most relevant to them. They can customize news from the Journal, MarketWatch and other news sources, as well as to save their news searches for easier access.
Users can learn more at www.WSJ.com/beta, and Online Journal subscribers can sign up for an email alert to be notified when the beta release becomes available.
The Wall Street Journal Online at WSJ.com, published by Dow Jones & Company (NYSE: DJ; www.dowjones.com), is the largest paid subscription news site on the Web. Launched in 1996, the Online Journal continues to attract quality subscribers that are at the top of their industries, with 768,000 subscribers world-wide as of Q4, 2005.
The Online Journal provides in-depth business news and financial information 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with insight and analysis, including breaking business and technology news and analysis from around the world.
